The Fish Fry
North Florida Land Trust’s Annual Fish Fry has been the organization’s signature event since 2012 and a growing attraction ever since. Last year, the event drew over 250 of North Florida’s outdoor, music, and food lovers to Big Talbot Island for this land trust tradition in support of regional conservation.
Salt Marsh Brewgrass Festival
North Florida Land Trust’s Salt Marsh Brewgrass Festival had its inauguration in Fall of 2015. In its first year, the event drew over 400 residents and visitors of North Florida to enjoy great live music on Big Talbot Island for a day-long festival in celebration of local conservation.
Big Talbot Island Quarterly Clean-ups
North Florida Land Trust adopted a three-mile segment of Heckscher Drive/A1A through the Florida Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway Litter Removal Program. Every quarter, we clean up this section of the highway to prevent trash from entering our state parks and waterways. Afterwards, we provide lunch at NFLT’s Milam House on Big Talbot Island.
The Legacy Luncheon is North Florida Land Trust’s annual report to the community. It is a business luncheon intended to engage and unite our supporters, inform them of our yearly accomplishments and goals, and inspire ongoing support. The event brings over 100 of North Florida Land Trust’s most dedicated donors, supporters, and business partners to stay up-to-date on NFLT’s achievements and goals for the new year.
